Chris Gone From American Idol?? Time for Fuel?
The best pure rock singer in the competition, gone? In the quarter-finals? Well, it will be interesting (to say the least) to hear how his song on the forthcoming CD, "American Idol Season 5 Encores," will stack up against the final three, without the visuals of Taylor's manic energy, Kat's constant mugging and Elliott's distractingly bland performance (although Elliott is the best singer of those left). (TMZ has reported that a special surprise awaits Chris tonight on "Extra"... I have learned that he is being offered the Fuel lead singer job.)
